We were founded by Dr. Dean and his wife, Joan, fulfilling a dream Dr. Dean had pursued since childhood. He attended Utah State University before matriculating at Colorado State University to acquire his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Brent and Joan have now called Pinedale, Wyoming home for 25 years.
In the first years of the facility, Veterinary Technician Patti Baxley joined the Deans at the Animal Clinic; she has remained an intrinsic part of the team for 16 years.
A year ago, Brent expanded his lifelong project to include a second veterinarian. Tina Gehlhausen attended Depauw University, then Purdue University. She garnered nine years of experience at Heritage Animal Hospital, focusing on small animal and equine medicine, before bringing her expertise to the equine side of the Animal Clinic, specializing in our equine reproduction services.
The Animal Clinic's mission states, "to treat our patients with compassion and respect is paramount." We are here to provide the best possible treatment for all of your pets out of dedication to the welfare of all animals and the incessant pursuit of better and smarter medicine.
